Della Threadgill Adams
CHESTERFIELD - Della Threadgill Adams, 85, died Nov. 7, 2007 at her home. A funeral service was held Nov. 9 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel with burial in David’s Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Adams, born in Chesterfield, was a daughter of the late Wilbur Franklin and Viola Estalle Burr Threadgill. She was a retired clerk with Belk Department Store. She was a member of David’s Grove Baptist Church, where she served as former Sunday School teacher and choir member. She was preceded in death by husband, Hubert Teal Adams; son-in-law Dean Lisenby; sisters, Naomi Caulder, Georgia Gulledge and Louise Adams. Surviving are daughter, Barbara Lisenby of Chesterfield; grandchildren Chris Lisenby, Heather Stancil and Deana (Joe) Owen all of Chesterfield; great grandson Jordan Lisenby of Chesterfield; sisters, Marilyn Smith of Sterling, VA and Lee Sellers of High Point, NC; a number of nieces and nephews. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

Patty Dingus
PAGELAND – A memorial service for Patty Dingus will be held Thursday, Nov. 16 at Pageland United Methodist Church at 11 a.m.

Hattie M. Miller
PAGELAND- Hattie M. Miller, 87, died Oct. 20, 2007. A funeral service was held Oct. 27 at Rock Hill A.M.E. Zion Church with burial in the church cemetery. Miller, born in Chesterfield County, was a daughter of the late Christopher and Frances Miller. She was preceded in death by husband, Ural L. Miller and daughter Lillie B. Davis. Surviving are children, Delois Miller of Patterson, NJ, Gradlon Miller of Marshville, NC, Jessie Miller, Emma Miller, Rita Nicholson, Freddie Miller and Christopher Miller all of Pageland; sisters, Annie Moore of Detroit, MI and Lillie Sowell of Los Angeles, CA; 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. King’s Funeral Home, Pageland, was in charge of the arrangements.

James F. Steen
LANCASTER, SC – James F. Steen, 72, died Nov. 3, 2007 at Springs Memorial Hospital. A funeral service was held Nov. 6 at Lynwood Drive Church of God with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park. Steen, born in Marlboro County, was a son of Wincy Knight Steen and the late Floyd Odell Steen. He was a retired employee of Springs Industries, a former employee of Lancaster Frozen Foods and was a member of Lynwood Drive Church of God. He was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Steen. Surviving are wife Shelby Steen; daughter, Patricia (Tony) Lester of Kershaw, SC; son Edward (Wanda) Steen of Lancaster; brothers, Harold Steen of Heath Springs,SC and Rev. Howard Steen of Anderson, SC; sisters Erleen Tinker of York, SC and Evelyn Rollins of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild. Tammy Mills Zearfoss
CHESTERFIELD - Tammy Mills Zearfoss, 44, died Nov. 4, 2007. A funeral service was held Nov. 7 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Ruby Church of God cemetery. Zearfoss, born in Monroe, NC, was a daughter of Clyde Lee and Mary Helen Morton Mills. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and received a master’s degree in cosmetology. She was an avid deer hunter and attended Ruby Church of God. Surviving are children, Joshua D. Zearfoss of the home, Jessica (Norman Leach) of W. Columbia, SC and their father Kenneth Zearfoss of Bristol, CT; one grandson, Stephen Michael Leach of W. Columbia, SC; fiance’ Dean Curtis of Chesterfield; brother, Ricky (Linda) Mills of Ruby; sisters, Sylvia Johnson, Vickie (Mike) Short, and Susie (Warren) Boswell all of Ruby; step-daughters Ashley Curtis and Monica Rayfield of Chesterfield; step-granddaughter Kaylee Gardner of Chesterfield.
