Winfred ‘Wimp’ Eubanks
JEFFERSON – Winfred “Wimp” Eubanks, 81, died April 25, 2007. A funeral service was held April 29 at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Eubanks, born in Chesterfield County, was a son of the late Everett and Camilla Belk Eubanks. He was a retired employee of Springs Industries with 30 years of service and also worked for Rorie’s Well Drilling for 12 years following his retirement. He was a member of the Jefferson Rescue Squad with over 40 years of service, a member of Macedonia Masonic Lodge 239 and a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by a brother Charles Eubanks and sisters Jenny Stephenson and Eva Mae Eubanks.
Surviving are wife Rachel Jackson Eubanks; sons Michael Eubanks, of Mt. Croghan, Randy (Christine) Eubanks and Jackie (Darlene) Eubanks, both of Jefferson, Stephen (Penny) Eubanks, of Heath Springs, S.C., Billy Ray (Brenda) Rollings, of Jefferson and Derick (Jennifer) Guyton, of Camden, S.C.; brothers Haul (Missy) Eubanks, of Jefferson, Harold (Frances) Eubanks, of Lancaster, S.C. and Jerry (Janie) Eubanks, of Kershaw, S.C.; sister Gladys Hinson, of Jefferson; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield was in charge of the arrangements.

Ray Edward Moore
PAGELAND – Ray Edward Moore, 68, died May 2, 2007. A funeral service was held May 5 at Ruby Church of God with burial in the church cemetery.
Moore, born in Ruby, was a son of the late Henry Clim and Myrtle Aline Lear Moore. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Ruby Church of God.
He was preceded in death by brothers Doug and William Moore.
Surviving are wife Willie Mae Price Moore; son Billy Ray (Jackie) Moore, of Lancaster, S.C.; daughters Diane (Ricky) Melton, of Ruby, Ann Hancock, Shirley (Larry) Deese, Penny Lindsey and Lorrie Melton, all of Pageland; brother Ellis Moore, of Jefferson; sisters Susie Jenkins Rogers, Rachel Hodge, Jennie Melton, all of Ruby and Mary Hartley, of Lancaster, S.C.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield was in charge of the arrangements.

Joanne Veronica Leviner Cason
CHERAW — Joanne Veronica Leviner Cason, 56, died, Monday, April 16, 2007. A funeral service was held at Kiser Funeral Home with burial in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
Born in Cheraw, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie L. Leviner and the late Margaret Leviner. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She had been an instructor of ceramics at the community center for many years. She assisted people in preparing their tax returns. She enjoyed traveling, playing games and working puzzles. She was a loving mother.
Surviving are her husband Larry M. Cason, sons John Murray Cason and Matthew Thomas Cason, daughter April Noel Cason, father and step-mother, and grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Cason and Michelle Pegues, all of Cheraw, S.C.
Kiser Funeral Home of Cheraw was in charge of the arrangements.

Edelle B. Polson
PATRICK — Edelle B. Polson, 87, died Monday, April 09, 2007.
A graveside service was at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
Born in Patrick, she was a daughter of the late Ira Walker and Mattie Lou Board Boan. She was the widow of Robert N. Polson Sr. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church of Cheraw.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert N. Polson Sr. and grandson Robert N. Polson III.
Surviving are sons Robert N. “Bobby” Polson Jr., of Cheraw, I. Craig Polson, of Alamogerdo, NM, brother Howard Boan, of Cheraw, sister Mary Lou Jacobs, of Cheraw, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
